Tried to sell a ps4 pro on the popular auction site and i went through 4 or so relistings only to sell for something like 250 shipped. They also took their their cut and.... yeah this doesn't seem like a bad deal at all. Wish I had not gone the auction route tbh.

Yeah, without looking it up exactly, I'm sure you would need to be in the $325 at least ballpark, on ebay to cover $275. Of course Gamestop credit isn't money. But for some of us gamers, it is. Plus you can use for Microsoft Store and other things.
With this and then "get $5 Microsoft dollars every month" for being a Pro member (thats how I use my $5 gift certificate), Gamestop is trying to win me over.

Right, also keep in mind that new VR titles for the PS4 have pretty much vanished.

I just sold my pro on fb market for $320 yesterday. It was the cheapest one on there. I think it's due to them being discontinued.
