Quality varies quite a bit. The base ingredients are similar, but most of the locations are franchises, and corporate doesn't seem to be super fussy about uniformity of food. Things like mixing the sauce correctly and cooking the right amount of time make a big difference. Also, hot-n-ready means that lazy store managers might let them sit in the heat rack for too long, which absolutely can dry them out.

If you've never been excited about being able to buy a 5 dollar pizza, then count yourself lucky. I've had multiple times in my life where it absolutely made my day to get one of these, and there could be again.

When I want stuffed crust I slice open the crust and stuff it with some motz myself... put it on the pizza stone at 450 for 7-8 minutes and it's great. I actually like it this way better than when they do it because some of the cheese will bleed out and brown on the stone.

But if you don't have any motz on-hand, sacrifice a slice and you can stuff 3-4 other slices with it. Wink
