Much, much easier to get discount Fandango/VUDU gift cards/credits than it is Amazon. Discount iTunes is actually easier than Amazon. Why don't I just use iTunes? Because I'm not an Apple guy and I'm stubborn. But when Apple decides to release a $500 iPhone with a 5" screen, I think I'm gone because Google has just turned stupid/corporate over the past 5 years. That's why I care where I buy MA titles; I'm not actually paying $5 even though that's what a given marketplace is charging.

Law Abiding Citizen is not showing up as Movies Anywhere compatible. Fair warning.

Same with Elysium, $13.99 at Amazon.
EDIT: Just read the OP more closely, and it appears the Amazon links are posted in case they eventually price match. Which they usually do. I wish VUDU would also follow suit with price-matching iTunes. Don't get me started on Google Play, which just doesn't give a rip anymore.

Serious question. With titles being MA, why do you care where you get them from?

LOL, I never thought of it that way. Love the film though, I already own 2 DVDs (1 normal, 1 Super Bit), then when BD came out so I have 3 versions. Do I want to see it again in 4K? I know I can read up, but does anyone know the quality of up-coversion and if they went back to original films to re-scan?

That's a legitimate question. For me, I don't have an iTunes account. Other than iTunes, I honestly don't care one way or the other where my MA movies come from.

Dumb question, but asking because I've never "bought" a movie as a download, just as DVDs. When you buy a movie this way, are you downloading an actual movie file on to your harddrive, or are you just getting a "license" to stream the movie from, say in this case, Apple whenever you want?

Not OP but Apple gives/gave free upgrades for 1080p -> 4K if you bought through them originally. I'm personally banking on them doing it again in x years when 8k or whatever is the norm, or offering a discounted upgrade.
