PROTIP: plz sign up for a MSN email account, it is a lot easier. If u sign up with a gmail or yahoo email acct, they sometimes have issues sending the voucher after u attended the event.

How does this work exactly? Is it like a live session where I have to attend at scheduled time? Noticing all times would conflict with my standard day job

You have to attend but you don't have to participate from my last one but it didn't include a voucher. Expect someone to reach out to help you with your business.

I don't see Azure Cloud Fundamentals class. Can I take any of those to take that cert?

No they will only work for the stated exams most likely. That was the case last time around. Also as has been pointed out, the expiry on certificates is 2 years (not sure about the fundamental ones).

I'm also wondering what the use is. Isn't it just a part of their Azure marketing efforts? Like a certified evangelist they hope hard-sells their employer on moving to microsoft's cloud?

They would compliment your resume and it's a learning experience. Wouldn't exactly say it's going to get you hired instantly but might make you stand out to other candidates

I only signed up for the free voucher since I prefer self-paced on U demy/Microsoft Learn. I just logged in the webinar and muted the browser tab for the whole session.
