I paid full price for one of these a few months ago and I've been quite happy with it. I'll probably go pick up another for less than $5.

Nowhere do you state this is related to a TAPE MEASURE.

I have this. The auto lock mechanism wears out over time and now it can't hold on any more. I only used it for a few occasions.

I think I bought this or one just like it. Works great for me but I've only used it for about a month. Love the centimeters on the back. Wildly variable prices from $5 to $14 in stores near me.

I see 1 store near me that has it in stock at $4.67. I already have a regular tape measure. Kind of busted up tho. Is this a good deal for me to go an get it?

Just FYI, he was reviewing the magnetic Kobalt, not this one or the auto lock that's also in stores.
