Not a bad deal for a Surface Pro 7. Prices have dropped since the new Surface releases. There are other Surface Pros on sale too.

Price has been at this price for weeks. Will likely go even lower now that the new Surface Pro 8 is coming officially

Correct. I saw this a couple of weeks ago, but didn't pull the trigger because I was unsure whether the Surface Pro 8 would have a bigger screen in the same form factor. It does, so I'm passing on this one (especially with two Thunderbolt 4 ports on the SP8).

Surface Pro 8 is $1099 in this variant. It's ridiculous that Microsoft has the nerve to offer a 128 SSD in 2021 with the new model.

With most of my stuff in the cloud, I have no need for anything more than 128GB of storage.

Sounds personal and irrelevant to my point.

Unless you only use the device for web browsing and basic office work, if you install some professional software like Photoshop you will find that 128GB runs out in no time

Last couple of years they've done $300 off base model on Black Friday which would bring it down to only $100 more than this. Definitely worth the extra $100 I think. New one seems like a pretty nice device.

There are tons of people that don't need a lot of storage on their devices. Almost everyone who uses a Chromebook has less than 128GB of storage. So maybe your view on the amount of storage required is "personal and irrelevant."

Yeah, 128 is a joke. Why is 256gb not the minimum yet?

You're still missing the point $1100 for 128gb SSD is egregiously greedy. The Surface Laptop 4 minimum is 256.

And your primary drive is NOT upgradeable. Nothing can be fixed and nothing can be upgraded after the fact. My Pro 4 screen is dying and the only way to run it is using 2 external monitors. My old pro 4 also has a 256 gb not 128 gb. I think that is the major flaw.
