Also some sort of extra protection had to be enabled within 30 day of adding the but you are never prompted - only find out if you happen to navigate around setting.
"Tiles must be registered for Basic Reimbursement within 30 days of activation."

They know you own the tile, should not need to add this extra hidden step.
Shady practices, shit products. Would not recommend.

I also wonder how these are legal if I can use to track my neighbors movements without his knowledge.
Their app constantly reminds you to update to a new tile.

I'm pretty much over Apple's $$$ ecosystems, last iPad for me, gone to Android tablets, phones. The Apps, OS may not be as slick, but the price vs value, well Beta was better then VSH, but VSH won out. RISC was better then CISC, CISC won, again price vs value.

Both android and iOS apps for both. Probably less adoption thus less useful for crowdsourced finding than the Apple tags, but finding your own stuff in house generally works fine.
Is there one you recommend? I have epilepsy and as a result struggle with memory issues, ie I lose various small items multiple times in a single day. Hoping these gadgets help.
