Found a great deal on a series 3. Yes I'm aware this is ancient and Apple has almost released the 7. But I got this for my 13 yr old who just wanted a smart watch. Can't go wrong for the price. Not worth it really. Better to buy a used SE, 4 or 5 if budget is limited. SE also went as low as $200 and could again and a much better buy.

Series 3 is only partially supported by watchOS 7. Probably less support and ending with watchOS 8. For $100 - $125 maybe. It's been $169 every few weeks for 6 months or more. Best Buy had the Nike version for a few minutes about 6 months ago for $100.

I love that yesterday's most amazing gotta have I'm going to wet myself so excited new item is now today's trash.

In the near future Teslas will be as cool as a Prius. The kid is 13. Slamming his/her watch is just setting them up for therapy and meds. I work with teens and I know.

Curious who had the SE for $200? Not trying to be a jerk, actually want to know. I need a replacement for my Series 1 and also don't want to spend $160 on such an old series 3. SE seems perfect for me, bigger screen than I have now without the advanced updates of the 6 or 7 that I probably won't use.

The new IOS updates are so huge and the storage on the 3 series is so small that you cannot update the series 3 anymore unless you uninstall and delete everything on your watch and then install the new iOS . Even that might not work anymore. I stopped bothering with all of that months ago. So bottom line is this works for basic things like being a running watch and it will notify you if you get a text on your iPhone but it can't do any of the new things that the series 5 and above will do.
