I used a 92 inch projection screen, then an 82 inch high power screen, and now a 100 inch screen. Size matters, even at large sizes. That being said, going from 92 to 82 was a huge upgrade for me because of picture quality. I'd do it again in a heartbeat.
OLED picture quality is simply unmatched. If you are going to spend $3000 on a tv, get the best. 77 is still huge.
Edit: mask up and spend five minutes in a tv store comparing these TVs. OLED is the best picture quality I've ever seen.
Edit: so many thumbs down. Don't go to Best Buy, go to a high-if store. You can't really compare these TVs on the internet. Rtings comparison clearly suggests the oled is a better tv. I link to it in the post below this one. This is a $3000 purchase and you are looking on slickdeals. I'd check out OLED in person if you haven't seen it before, before spending $3000 on a tv. It's better if you can demo at a friends house, but not everyone has that luxury.

For 3 grand get a 77" OLED or a 120" UST with ALR screen.
If this was 2 grand you would have something to think about.

I think the general consensus is that If you have a bright room or will be using the TV where there is moderate ambient light, the Q90 might (literally) outshine any OLED simply due to brightness limitations of the technology. In most other ways the OLED is superior, even if only marginally so. The extra 8 inches of real estate you gain with the Samsung actually does make a noticeable difference to me, but this is incredibly subjective and will vary from person to person.
In my honest opinion, something like a tech store is not really a viable way of determining quality as there are sooooo many variables, such as different content being played, unknown and uncalibrated settings, unrepresentative environmental conditions, etc. My friend has a G-line OLED and it looks SIGNIFICANTLY better than the exact same size and model that the local Best Buy has.
All that said, this deal is particularly interesting to me because of the Financing options. Having 48 months (!) to break the cost down over is quite incredibly motivating. Whatever you go with, good luck and enjoy!
