With electronics like laptops, its best to ask instore, at the returns desk before purchase. Many vendors change their return policies longer for the Christmas season.:peace:

Seeing a number of stores around me with them for $149. Walmart.com shows it on clearance for $179 for me. Shows the regular price as $259.

If you dont want to play Wild Goose Walmart Chase - for $30 more you can buy it at Walmart's site and have it shipped free...

I would say it makes more sense to just buy the Flex 3. The processor is the 4200 instead of the slower 4000. It might well be worth the extra $30 for the processor.

Other than that they are more or less the same.

I have the Flex 3 and it works very well. Though I wish I could get the 13" for just a bit more it would fit in the case this 11" one comes with. That wasted room bothers me.

It could be the price will go down further if you keep watching.

Thanks OP!

I grabbed one tonight at my local store. I have been playing with it for about an hour now and here's my initial impressions.

I dont use a PC for anything @ home. My main device has been a Lenovo Duet for almost 6 months now so I was looking to augment/replace that.

The screen is not as nice. The resolution however is adequate for the device size. I cannot complain but the Duet in all fairness sets the bar for the screen pretty high.
The keyboard blows that of the Duet out of the water! It is very comfortable to type on.
Trackpad is as nice as anything else I have used at its original price point if not better.
It is plenty speedy to use with its N4000/4GB
USB C Charging!

WTF is with that massive lower bezel though?

Overall I am VERY happy with my purchase.

not worth the $30 extra dollars at all. it's a chrome book, if you need extra processing power you're doing it wrong, marginally better processor is the only difference

Can't recommend this one enough! I already bought 3 of these - 2 for my kids (6 and 8 at the time) for remote school and they're fantastic! Media consuption, google play games, all work flawlessly. And since they're kids, I can assure you that this thing CAN TAKE A BEATING!

3rd one is for my mother in law. Perfect for someone with fat fingers, not careful with electronic, for whatsapp, skype calls, etc - totally awesome!

So, would you say that this one is significantly faster than the Duet? TIA

Hey do you know if it will output full hd or hopefully 2k to an external display? Thanks!

Also was able to add to cart for local pickup for 150 using this link for anyone hesitant to trust brickseek:

So many good deals on 11.6 models lately. Snagged this C340 to compare to the Acer 512 and Lenovo 3. Looks like the performance of the N4000 is really close to the N4020.

I havent driven it too hard but watching MLB games with a FB tab open I haven't notice any slow downs at all.

My duet would have been pretty choppy under that load.

People should just pony up and get an i3. It'll do well, surf the web, indefinitely into the distant future.
