Best thing about these is no monthly subscription. Who cares is you get 50% off on the initial purchase if you end up paying $250/ year forever, just to use the device.
I've used these for several months, what I have noticed is that when someone walks directly strait towards the camera it sometimes is slow to trigger and triggers when the subject moves side to side.

My walkway is curved and requires you to walk side to side so it doesnt miss anything, however, I have one on my garage door entrance and it has a walkway straight towards the door and if you walk straight towards it detection triggers as soon as I turn to walk into the garage.

Not an issue really for me, but for some, I suspect the motion detection might not work.

If you're relying on these as a security solution to monitor the front of your house, you're doing it wrong. Buy a camera and not a doorbell.

If you want a door bell to monitor packages sitting on your porch and people coming to visit, these will work great.

My battery on the front of my house lasts for about 70 days before needing to be charged (7-15) triggers daily of about 15 seconds), the battery on my garage still has not been charged and its been over 150 days. (Triggers 2-3 times daily)

The video quality is great, the audio is clear, and the alerts are immediate.
price wise this is good but product doesnt work without a homebase so those without homebase are SOL?

Ever since they introduced the stupid AI, FW updates, software updates, it always causes problems; this crap is getting worse. skip recording, false notifications, zones does not work; it takes forever to show recent recordings, pre-recording time is lost. I tried to avoid negative comments, but it is just getting worse.

I've purchased this doorbell when it first came out. Started having issues with poor lens quality, especially when facing bright background. HDR didn't fix it, and Anker sent me a replacement. It was a little bit better, but a string of issues started happening. It constantly sees random objects as humans ( side of a house, reflection of lights, rocks etc ). You can only set one "ignore" zone, so you will be out of luck if the camera sees your garden rocks and part of the roof as a human. What's worse, the camera simply freezes once every 1-2 months. There is no way to unfreeze it, you need to remove it, reset and re-add to the app. It is a common issue, just look at their forum. No official acknowledgment of the issue has been made.

Anker ( Eufy ) is great with customer support. If you contact them, they will send you a new unit, or try to troubleshoot it - however, at this point, and after 3 doorbell units being replaced, I am tired of it. Thinking to switch to Google Nest simply because of reliability. ( I will miss 2k video but rather have a working unit than extra pixels )

I don't have the same issue with any other Eufy products (I own 5 outdoor/indoor cameras + a door lock ).

Do you know of any video Doorbell that does 24/7 recording instead of just motion based triggers? Thanks
