My walkway is curved and requires you to walk side to side so it doesnt miss anything, however, I have one on my garage door entrance and it has a walkway straight towards the door and if you walk straight towards it detection triggers as soon as I turn to walk into the garage.
Not an issue really for me, but for some, I suspect the motion detection might not work.
If you're relying on these as a security solution to monitor the front of your house, you're doing it wrong. Buy a camera and not a doorbell.
If you want a door bell to monitor packages sitting on your porch and people coming to visit, these will work great.
My battery on the front of my house lasts for about 70 days before needing to be charged (7-15) triggers daily of about 15 seconds), the battery on my garage still has not been charged and its been over 150 days. (Triggers 2-3 times daily)
The video quality is great, the audio is clear, and the alerts are immediate.

Anker ( Eufy ) is great with customer support. If you contact them, they will send you a new unit, or try to troubleshoot it - however, at this point, and after 3 doorbell units being replaced, I am tired of it. Thinking to switch to Google Nest simply because of reliability. ( I will miss 2k video but rather have a working unit than extra pixels )
I don't have the same issue with any other Eufy products (I own 5 outdoor/indoor cameras + a door lock ).

Do you know of any video Doorbell that does 24/7 recording instead of just motion based triggers? Thanks
There is a Pro version of this doorbell that records 24/7.
