Honestly… I bought this and returned it. You're better off getting a eufy pro 2 2k cam and set it up near your door so it alerts you when someone's approaching. It's also better coverage.

This requires a Homebase, no? If sticking with Amazon purchase, would best bet after purchasing this doorbell be to buy a 1080p or 2K camera bundled with a Homebase? Also main Eufy site has this door paired with a Homebase for $139.99 (better option if not interested in a camera?).
No, just cheeked my doorbell app and i dont see the option for RTSP (real time streaming protocol). My eufy indoor security camera does. I think its b/c the door camera isnt recording 24/7

Yes, requires a Homebase. I just bought the renewed 2k camera deal for $170 a few days ago and just wanted to add the door bell. So I got the two 2k camera bundle and this doorbell for $260. Costco sells this bundle brand new for $390.
Also bought the Eufy Smart Lock on Amazon which is onsale for $184. I missed the Costco deal for $170.

On a side note, Homebase2 has very good resale value. New unit can easily go over $100 on Ebay. Even after you deduct shipping and platform charge, you can get $70-$80 back.

I have both, the wired doorbell and Indoor setup. The indoor one is located outdoor and it records 24x7. The doorbell one is good if the delivery people want to talk or when they deliver something and push the bell + it's another form of deterrence. because of the setup my doorbell trigger area is about 20 feet on the ground (someone has to stand in the area for it to send notification). So I seldomly get any wrong notifications; one or the other or both cameras catch everything all the time.
