Are you kidding? China of course.

You won't find a better sounding speaker for money. That's why these consistently sell out.

Everyone needs to get into hte habit of using that little microphone that comes with most AVRs these days and looking up how to use it properly

It takes some time to set up everything properly, but you willl enjoy your system way more and that kind of acoustic tuning used to cost a lot of money to have someone else do for you.

I have bookshelf models of this line of speakers and they're great. I wish I had a better room for acoustics. Keep that in mind when setting up a home theater or surround sound system.

Sure, the Denon S750h will power the R253's. While the denon is only 75W, you can enable the high pass filter by setting the speaker to small and get a sub. I'd grab the infinity R12 since it's on sale too.

Is that statement a positive or a negative about it's performance overall? On the extreme, I'm sure there is a "best" sounding $20 speaker too.

Only piece I am missing is front speakers. Close to just going the Solstice DIY route and my finger has been on that trigger without pulling way too long.

Sure. It's just a question of how loud you want to push them without distortion. You'll get most of the way there with even a basic receiver/amp. If you want to push them louder, you need much more power to accomplish slight gains in volume.

Just bought a pair of these along with the R12 sub from Harmon, and an RC252 center channel from Amazon to complete the 3.1 setup. Now just need a decent receiver. Thanks!

That being said, I have the bookshelf version and they are incredible.

Is this better than the Klipsch 8000 FS speakers?
