Looks like they are discontinued at Costco. I'm not sure it is the same model. Usually.97 means that they're discontinued. There is 2.99 shipping charge. I'm not sure if local warehouse has them in stock so you can avoid it.

If I mostly listen to podcasts/audiobooks while mowing the yard/jogging, these probably will not be much of an upgrade from a $20 set of Anker earbuds, right?

FWIW I wear these while I'm cutting grass or using the trimmer and I love 'em. I can listen to podcasts/music and hear everything fine.

I'm not sure how much better or worse they are then the Ankers, but you know.

I posted about this last week that Walmart had it for $40 not a peep from anyone about the quality but after reading the reviews, I decided not to waste $40 and wait for something better, or maybe get one of those $20 sony ones instead. There are a lot of complaints about the charger compatibility and sound quality lacking bass.

I have these and I like them a lot. I've discovered that I need a wire, or at least a clip on the buds to attach them to my shirt, or I lose the buds, so that might be why I like them more than "true" wireless buds. I have had zero charging issues. They are just USB-C, so I don't know what problems people might be having (re: last comment)

I have a pair of these. As far as sound quality is concerned these aren't worth $40 let alone $70.
