Sometimes people mount a TV and then find themselves in a situation where they can't or won't have it mounted anymore. But often people get rid of or lose the stand.
This stand works with a wide range of TVs. The included stand is usually just for that TV.
This mount has some height adjustability. What comes with TVs typically has none.
and for me, the feet are too wide for the table i'm going to put my 55" on.
