Just remember that GIG they try to sell you it's only 125MB at the best condition.

Transferring the current box to a new account is not possible according to both people I spoke to (call disconnected during first attempt), and none of these promos will apply if we do a "supersede" pr transfer of service to her name. We're both WFM, so not having Internet even for a day is unfortunately a deal breaker

What are you trying to say by dividing the download speed by 8? I have 300 MBPS ATT fiber, and my phone and desktop gets 370 - 390 MBPS for both download and upload. That is the real download speed, but as per your calculation I am only getting 46 MBPS ... Seems a lot faster than 46 MBPS
FYI, I got it via Costco deal, so only got 250 gift card (200 ATT, 50 Costco cash card). They sent me email confirmation on the giftcard/Costco card within 2 mins of me signing up.
