Depends on your area and cell provider but you may be able to use your cell as a hotspot. I've not tried what your suggesting but I've had my internet go down a couple of times over the years and it works OK for what I do with WFM. Cell can act as wifi or connect it via cord to a PC or some routers for full house coverage.
Appreciate the advice. Yeah, planning to just use my hotspot capabilities via AT&T wireless. Shouldn't be too bad if everything goes according to timeline 👍🏼

Just remember that GIG they try to sell you it's only 125MB at the best condition.

When and which zipcode? Sonic is good too.
94112. I had it up until we moved in August. Unfortunately, Sonic didn't service our area. We are using Sonic now at our new location, and it is so much better now. No drop connections for last 2 months.

It appears that you can cancel and sign up under your own name. Trying to do that right now and the online chat agent did not say I cannot order it under the same account. I just have to cancel the current plan first.
So to get current deal, chat with agent for the deal making sure all gift cards apply and then cancel prev promo deal (mines ends in Nov) and then put the current deal in same name and address is fine?

I'm trying to close my account and open under my gf's name, but they're saying it will cause an interruption of service (no Internet) for a few days until we receive the new box…or they schedule a technician?

Transferring the current box to a new account is not possible according to both people I spoke to (call disconnected during first attempt), and none of these promos will apply if we do a "supersede" pr transfer of service to her name. We're both WFM, so not having Internet even for a day is unfortunately a deal breaker

Has anyone succeeded at pulling this off?
Damn so for people with prev deals then it seems the only option is to get your prev deal that only has discount on the monthly price W/O gift cards ? 😩😩

I signed up for 32092, house is still being built but should close sometime in October, November at the latest. They offered the extra $150 prior to check out making it a total of $400. I pushed my install date out to November as well.

Once my internet got connected and activated the next day I got 4 emails with confirmation codes for my reward cards. Sadly the website had issues for 3 week but once their reward site worked got the cards in a week.

Also important to note these cards expire 6 months from creation date.
You are lucky enough. In unlucky scenario, if gift cards not arrived, then pain will start. Just google.

That is terrible internet speed for the price you pay.
Fiber is usually symmetric so you get great upload speed. That's super valuable if you work from home. My cable gives me 150 megabit down but only 10 up which really sucks.

What are you trying to say by dividing the download speed by 8? I have 300 MBPS ATT fiber, and my phone and desktop gets 370 - 390 MBPS for both download and upload. That is the real download speed, but as per your calculation I am only getting 46 MBPS ... Seems a lot faster than 46 MBPS Smilie

FYI, I got it via Costco deal, so only got 250 gift card (200 ATT, 50 Costco cash card).
