It's run by Meh, AKA the original Woot team. It's a legitimate site, and I've bought from them a few times.

Does anyone know if these are actual mophies and not "counterfeits"? (Not even sure if counterfeits exist on this type of thing)

Awesome, just bought the 2 pack of 4000mah w/usb c. Tired of always leaving the house and my phone is nearly dead. Just as a help to others, the coupon DOES take 8.99 off for free shipping. You just need to enter payment information first before you apply the code. Thanks op.

IMO these:

2-Pack: Mophie Powerstation 18-Watt PD 6700mAh Power Banks with USB-C Port

Just use your USB C to lightning cable to get the fast charging ⚡️

Just got this:
$24 -- 4-Pack: Mophie Powerstation 6,040mAh Lightning Power Bank in Rose Aluminum [morningsave.com]

It seemed like the best value/mAh for the money. Couldn't find a definitive answer on if these support pass-through charging, but I hope they do. Coupon code for free shipping worked (I entered payment info first).

Website is sort of garbage. No shopping cart so to speak. Everything is sort of buy now, can't add other items to the order besides the item you are already ordering (so the only thing you can place an order for is SKU A or multiples of SKU A... can't add SKU B to ship as the same time as SKU A). Think maybe it's due to them not being able to handle orders that drop ship from multiple 3 party people. Wanted to buy a few different items, just gave up.

FWIW after I bought the power banks, it said I get free shipping on all other orders within the next hour or something like that.

Noticed the same thing. Poorly designed. Never heard of them so I'm out…. I don't need my CC # getting in the wild.

Beware on the $10 one it doesnt appear you can charge it with a USB-A wall wort. All these years on USB-C and many phones all my worts are still USB-A.

I also bought this item, early stocking up for Christmas gifts stocking stuffers for some people I have in mind... worked out nicely.

To answer your question, I'm pretty sure they do pass-through charging. One of the bullet points in the description says "Connect the powerstation portable battery to a wall adapter in the evening and pass-through charging will send power to a connected device first, then recharge the powerstation battery so both are fully charged when you wake up."

My niece just got her first iPad for her birthday just a week ago. One of these ought to compliment that finely. =)

Coupon code took off $8.99 shipping costs as expected. Then the website had a banner counting down saying free shipping site-wide for (insert t-minus 1 hour). Lol, who actually falls for that manipulative tactic??

::proceeds to buy the 12 pack of Jelly Belly Harry Potter gummies... love watermelon flavored candies!!:: XD

I'm sure you can charge it with a USB-A wall wart. Of course you'll need a USB-A to USB-C cable though. Not sure if that's what you meant? Or did you mean you have mostly A -> C cables at home, and wouldn't be able to plug those cables into the bank in order to charge your devices?

However, the bank may (or may not - don't have enough info) charge quicker with C to C PD input. For example, on some devices, they'll accept incoming PD to fast charge the device (i.e. the bank), but USB A to C will only charge at 5V (x)A, even if the A->C wall wart is, say, Qualcomm QC capable, because QC != PD. It's like my Pixel 4 XL vs. HTC U12+; HTC U12+ will "charge rapidly" with either QC or PD input, but Pixel 4 XL will only "charge rapidly" with PD. Because PD is integrated into the Pixel 4 XL but not QC.

Remember, USB A -> USB C automatically disqualifies PD. PD is a C to C standard (as well as lightning to C now that Apple has joined in somewhat). Of course, there are also many vendor implemented fast charging non-PD protocols besides QC as well, adding to the confusion. But anyway, my point is that that doesn't mean you won't be able to charge the $10 pack banks with a USB A -> C wart / cable. It may be slightly slower to fill up though compared to PD charging it.

I don't get the people who lurk on slickdeals but believe sellers like Secondipity, Eyedictive, and Morningsave are sketch.

It's called google, you heathens.
