Why not try the svs "prime" speakers for a 5.1 setup? They have a no hassle free 45 day in home audition period and lots of positive reviews. Seems like a no brainer.
I know several people that own SVS and Klipsch, can't recall any of the SVS owners having an issue.
Klipsch owners, I can recall 5 of them having an issue and wasn't seamless fix.
Every brand has a failure rate, some are just much higher. How those failures are addressed gives you a glimpse on quality.
As they say, you get what you pay for.
