Only downside is game collection is not so great.. and often they are very expensive. Their pro subscription at 10 bucks a month is not at all justifiable.
Definitely not worth for full time gamers. Casual gamers playing only a handful of games like me .. 60 bucks for a game and chromecast is well worth it.
In my experience it is neither slow nor laggy if you have reliable home internet.

I'm not beyond that 😂
The Chromecast isn't worth much and the controller is basically only good for stadia.

On a side note, I've had Stadia Pro for about a year now, and it's a terrific service. The games are great, and our whole family plays them. The Stadia service is very user friendly, and surprisingly fast and responsive. However, we have fiber cable internet with 500 up/down, so your experience will vary with your internet speed.
I'd say that for casual gamers, it is a great deal. I played cyberpunk (which performed great), Fenyx Rising, and sekiro on it. Had a great experience playing all 3. Especially was impressed with sekiro since it's very sensitive to button timing. Worked great. I'd say for $60 it's a great deal. Plus if you have other chromecasts or your phone or pc, you can just pick up and play wherever. That's pretty neat.
The major downside is that there's not a huge library of games and it's a more bare interface than Xbox or Playstation.
As always though, your mileage may vary!
tons of people selling chromecasts. though it's not exactly a firestick.
