Only downside is game collection is not so great.. and often they are very expensive. Their pro subscription at 10 bucks a month is not at all justifiable.
Definitely not worth for full time gamers. Casual gamers playing only a handful of games like me .. 60 bucks for a game and chromecast is well worth it.
In my experience it is neither slow nor laggy if you have reliable home internet.

Well, chatted with Stadia support and this promo only applies to one transaction of $59.99 or more, not multiple transactions totalling $59.99. Guess they lost my sales.
Told him Stadia group messed up with this promotion by doing that and he agreed.
Also submitted feedback to Stadia but I doubt it will make a difference.
