Service is awesome.. no doubt.. convenience to kick off wherever and whenever you want.. mobile, tablet, TV with chromecast is really great. Especially... when leading busy life with kids.

Only downside is game collection is not so great.. and often they are very expensive. Their pro subscription at 10 bucks a month is not at all justifiable.

Definitely not worth for full time gamers. Casual gamers playing only a handful of games like me .. 60 bucks for a game and chromecast is well worth it.

Uh, it's a digital game, how exactly are you going to do that? And it's a digital game that only works with Stadia, at that.

How do I redeem the offer? I bought baulders gate - I have the email with the receipt for the transaction but it's been over an hour and I haven't seen an email about redeeming the premiere yet? (I'm a stadia pro member if that helps)

Don't do it. Not worth it. Half the time I'm away gaming on a laptop. Library, stadia is blocked. Not gonna play on 5G. And 95% of the time everything is great, till you get to a boss battle or som platformer puzzle and you are farked. Just buy on steam.

You could use your phone as a controller or plug a wired controller into your phone that then communicates with the Stadia servers. The Stadia controller makes it a better/simpler experience. Just download the Stadia app to try it out.

Strongly disagree. Even on Cyberpunk, it feels like a console whether on moving or Chromecast. On both fiber internet and cellular data.

Nah, the issue is not stadia. I have played stadia wirelessly, on mobile data, at crowded hotels even, and never have I experienced the issues you're describing.

I didn't even know far cry had multiplayer, never known anyone that's used it. That said, many stadia titles are multiplatform, so I don't know why this would not be.

All of those services that Google canceled were free and didn't make them any money directly, Stadia is an entirely different beast and it's been growing significantly in the user base. Except for stadia you can literally play on any device, laptop, desktop, tv, mobile phone, tablet, etc. Sure it's a single platform, but it's ubiquitous and requires no special hardware.

I promise you that your problem with shooter games is not stadia, it's your internet. I beat both Doom games (very fast paced FPS) and Destiny 2 on Stadia regularly and have zero lag or quality issues.

The controller feels like an Xbox controller on the hands but with the PlayStation button layout. I like it a lot personally.
