Just the opposite. The Pegasus was the original logo/company. Most people are just used to seeing the premium brand mobil 1. Yes mobil 1 syn is better than mobil syn, i didnt even know mobil had a syn...
I'm sorry I have a tuned supercharged engine that I redline on almost a daily basis. I need mobil 1 every 5k miles and a wix filter so my motor lasts. To each his own but to me mobil 1 has given me proven reliability.
When did mobil one change logo on the bottles? is this ExxonMobil product? looks low key sus.
Looks like Mobil made a fighting grade product to compete with the Kirkland and Amazon basics product. This is not Mobil 1 this is just a basic synthetic with very little additive (dexos and API SP).

A Wix XP filter is best to glass media not fiber ment for extended changes.
I'd say a wrench that's the correct size for your car and a couple ramps, so probably $50 or so
Get a vacuum fluid extractor ($70) and suck the oil out through the dipstick tube, and never have to crawl under a car again, or depending on engine, you may have to to get at the oil filter.

Mobil 1 has stopped a car that I purchased from burning oil. I don't know what it was in the oil but I bought the car and it went from burning a quart every 2000 miles to burning a quart every 5000 miles.

Thanks for the comments. I was wondering if there was a difference between this and Mobil 1. Been using Mobil 1 for years now so I'll wait for another deal on it.

A thicker high mileage oil will do the same.
