It's been out for 30+ years now (1990). I recently tried to rewatch it for the first time in a long time . I do remember liking it back in the day but it just doesn't hold up very well. A gave up after about 15 minutes.

Owned by Disney now, so the chances of a UHD release are fairly slim.

If anyone cares, the 4K version is $5 on Vudu and iTunes just about every other week.

Nope. I own it in 4K. It got upgraded a while ago.

Also, what does Disney have to do with it? They've upgraded tons of their movies.

It definitely still holds up.

You don't own it on disc in 4K. Disney and now Fox since Disney bought them are extremely gun shy about 4K on physical media.

This is true, they are upgrading their recent flicks but older fox archive is very slow to come to 4K, with the streaming service it might not ever happen sadly Frown
