Open back (my preference but some may want closed).
Fantastic mic as well. Mutes when you swing the mic up.

This might be another good review to balance out the rave reviews.

Someone on discord the other day said: "what the hell are you using? That is the clearer mic I have ever heard"

It's currently on sale for $40 off the MSRP + additional $10 off for new users or with the coupon making it $129 = $50 off.

If you read or watch reviews comparing the HD58X and the PC38X they will state that the HD58X is great for music but not so much for gaming, specifically footsteps.
The reviewers state that the PC38X is far superior for footstep/FPS/most games but does not hold a candle to even the HD58x let alone the HD6XX.
If a microphone is important to you (if you are using it for zoom meetings), then i would say grab the PC38X
If you are looking for a pair of headphones to enjoy music with, i would go with the HD58X or the HD6XX and just sticking to your current pair of headphones for work.
My gf works from home so I bought her a pair of these Logitech headphones for $85 on eBay - they retail for $125 but the noise cancelling mic is insanely good.

The headphones are ON EAR not AROUND EAR like these PC38X but the microphone is superior to most headsets out there. You can watch review of the Logitech headset i linked on youtube and hear the microphone quality.
I could listen to music and use the blender in the next room and no customers or coworkers mentioned they could hear anything to my gf.
You have to watch for sales but if you can grab the Logitech headset for work and the HD58x for music - you would pay a bit more.
Logitech headset for work at $89 + HD58X for between $115-120 when on sale is roughly $200.
Id highly encourage you to watch youtube reviews for these headphones before you make your decision - they are well informed reviews that go in depth about music vs gaming vs microphone quality.
Best of luck
