Question of my own for owners: anyone who own these who can comment on how much weight they put on top of the head? Every headset I try ends up giving me headaches... Either they're heavy and pull down on top of my head, or they're pressing into the sides enough to cause pressure headaches. Pretty frustrating.
Sennheisers *always* have a break-in period during which they'll give you pressure headaches if you wear them for more than 3-4 hours at a stretch. It took me 2-3 weeks to break them in with 8+ hours per day wear. If you can hold out, they'll be really comfortable, but it's not something that happens quickly. I made sure to get up for a stretch and some water whenever I'd notice the headache set in, and it would go away pretty quick.

Would this be an upgrade from a Phillips 9500 with a BoomPro?
I have both. These are more enjoyable for music and non-competitive gaming. The boom pro has a slightly better sounding mic, though, and the 9500's are better for FPS competitive gaming, etc where positioning is important. Also, I have a big head, so the Philips are more comfortable. The clamping force on Sennheiser headphones are pretty high. The earcups are much nicer on the Sennheisers though.

Been looking for a pair a gaming headset. Would this be better or worse then the wired steel series Arctic, or the rayzer black shark v2 ?
These are much better. These are leagues above both of those in regards to sound quality, better mic, and better build quality. There's a reason Sennheiser makes the most recommended headphones in the audio community.

Wonder how these compare to the older Sennheiser Game One I have. Guessing probably not worth upgrading?
I've had both. I wouldn't upgrade if I already had the Game One. It might be a slight upgrade, but not by much.

I think this is supposed to be equivalent to Phillips 9500, with a better mic, as PC37X didn't have good enough audio for FPS.

...but it is wired. Who uses headsets tied to a wire anymore? How inconvenient.
Let's get rid of regular beef and just eat beyond meat. lol

frankly i dont think there are any wireless headsets better performing in games than this one outside of something like the Mobius which is way more than 120 bux.

If someone could help me out. I got these qt the beginning of the pandemic and my son is complaining that the left side of the headset doesn't work. What's the return policy?
I think I paid about this for pc37x.
Thanks in advance

That doesn't even make sense. Beyond meat doesnt taste better than beef, like wired isn't better than wireless.

LOL. ALL audiophile headphones are wired.

Sennheiser Orpheus is $55,000 and wired.

You think they forgot to make a bluetooth version or they couldn't afford it?

Go to any audiophile forum and tell them wired headphones suck. LOL. xD
