These look pretty good - is there something similar that has usb-c? I hate dongles but rather have usb c for my devices. I've given up on easy bluetooth switching. So much easier to just usb-c it on all the things.

It's a headphone jack.

I have a pair of pc38x's and Hyper-X Wireless Cloud 2's which are pretty much on par.
I returned my Hyper Xs. They were no where close to the 38X.

I have both. These are more enjoyable for music and non-competitive gaming. The boom pro has a slightly better sounding mic, though, and the 9500's are better for FPS competitive gaming, etc where positioning is important. Also, I have a big head, so the Philips are more comfortable. The clamping force on Sennheiser headphones are pretty high. The earcups are much nicer on the Sennheisers though.
Thanks for the info. I'll stick with the 9500 as I value comfort.
4+ Reps too you kind sir.

I have had them for 6+ months. Fantastic for gaming or music. Use them on consoles and PC.

Someone on discord the other day said: "what the hell are you using? That is the clearer mic I have ever heard"
I agree. Use this with even an entry level DAC/Amp and the sound it beautiful. I'd pair this with a Fulla 4. The Creative G6 is trash.

This is the only set of headphones I've needed to return due to defect. The volume knob had scratchy pots. When I would turn them up you would here a bunch of static and it wouldnt even land on the desired volume amount. They've been replaced and hopefully it doesnt happend again. Between both sets I've had them since they were first released and this 2nd set has been great.

I think this is supposed to be equivalent to Phillips 9500, with a better mic, as PC37X didn't have good enough audio for FPS.
The PC37x has perfectly good audio for FPS, I have over 2000hrs of Apex Legends on them and can attest to that.

I have the PC37x and they are super comfortable. I wore them all day long (10+ hrs/day) during my covid wfh stint (1.5 yrs) and pretty much forgot I even had them on. I miss them now that I'm back in the office and can't use open back headphones anymore.

yeah they are on par in a sense that they both can play the sound out of your source laugh out loud
they wouldnt be comparable because one is open back the other one is not. So the soundstage on the PC38x will be way better and more detailed and wider than on a budget closed back set. Maybe you need a different source but they wouldnt be close just based on specs alone. im sure the hyperx is solid though.

It's definitely a different sound experience, but I had no problem using the clouds for music and gaming. The difference to me was negligible.

I read through the comments first looking for an answer but forgive me if I missed something. Do these work on both the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series S?

Amazon does not like to price match anything nowadays, well, at least when I call.
