I am somewhat heavily invested in DeWalt now because this exact kit couldn't be delivered last year. It would show up at $170 and my orders would get cancelled due to unavailability. I hope folks are more successful now. Seemed like a fine kit from my research then.

Instead I got the similar DeWalt 20v pole saw and hedge trimmer for about $250. Then got hooked on about four more tools. But hey, I'm not addicted. I can stop anytime I want!

Back in 06 I met a guy who had a Camry engine die at like 50k miles. Shit happens to even the most reliable products.

I thought this was an attachment capable unit at first, but apparently it only works with the 2 attachments included. I wonder if it can be modded to use other attachments? Anyone know? Otherwise still a great deal for a 40v pole saw and trimmer.

I really wanted this is be decent, as it is cheap and I need both, but the reviews are not the greatest. Sad.

Edit: decided to pop for this. My mother believes she needs a pole trimmer, and the battery is compatible with the Kobalt mower from the February SD. Much appreciated, OP. 👍🏻
