These are great for banking ms gift cards which they will sell to you in $5 increments
I did this online a few nights ago. Still no sign of my 10k signup points, nor my first $5 cert to use for this month. Recently I bought a game called Lost Judgment which came with a $10 reward, I had to contact support just to get that issued to me as well once many days had gone by and it was never rewarded as it should have been. I figured this membership would quickly pay for itself and it's the only gaming rewards around these days since GCU ended, but it's clear much of GameStop as a business is a mess right now. There was a game on sale that I wanted, and I figured I'd get these 10k points and $5 monthly reward right away and I'd buy the game. Now I'm willing to bet by the time they get my points straightened out, the sale price on the game will expire and I won't be able to get what I wanted.

As others have also mentioned, the $5 monthly rewards can't stack because they expire, and they also cannot be used to preorder something, they have to be used on something currently in stock. Which is a negative to me, easiest way to make sure the rewards don't get wasted in a month where I might not want anything is to just preorder something that I know I want in the future. I hear PSN cards don't come in anything less than $10, so if you're mainly a PlayStation gamer you can't just get your monthly $5 in PSN credit either unless you add cash to it.

Small print terms about the PowerUp Pro says you can request to cancel/refund your membership within 7 days. I may do that as I am disappointed already. (Oh, also the previous game I bought online had a release date of Friday Sep 24th and I received it Weds the 29th. For a business that caters to gamers, they should know it's not fun to be 5 days behind everyone else who starts playing a game on release day. The package didn't even start moving until Monday after release.)

So I'll be wasting my Monday morning getting on their live chat that is only available on weekdays to ask where all these rewards are. If that doesn't get sorted immediately, I'll be inquiring about the terms of refunding my membership, and if they mess around with that, I'll contact my credit card about the $15 charge I used to join. I recently got a PS5 and figured I'll be buying more physical games because of that and that this would be worth doing, but I'm already frustrated with GS service.
This is what I do every month.
It tends to not let me use the credit on nintendo e-cards most of the time, sometimes yes, but I do it in-store every month without issue applied to the $10 e-card.

It looks like we need to do this in-store. Others, correct me if I am wrong.

Why would you want to stack this deal on one account? You pay $15 but breakeven with $10 in points and a $5 certificate; the real deal is the free $5 each month.
I'm making multiples but kind of want one account with about 3-5 years on it.
Gamestop had this deal 2 months ago but I missed it.
So maybe they will keep doing it. I guess I'll stick to multiples for 1 year each

Where does the $15 rewards show up?
The 10,000 points should show up online in your Rewards Activity.

https://www.gamestop.com/powerupr...-activity/

I assume the Welcome Certificate will show up in your Active Offers section online, same as the monthly certificates.

No, you can't do this online. But others say you can do it in store. I have yet to try this in store.
I always do $5 Nintendo cards every month. If employee say they don't have them in $5 increments which they say half the time tell them to type it in and politely stfu. They alway be trying to upsell.

Where do you renew in the app? I am not seeing it. I canceled my auto renew on the website and restarted but didn't see anything about the bonus points?
I also had a ton of trouble. This is the only way I've found:

Go to the website and sign out if you're currently signed in. Then go to https://www.gamestop.com/poweruprewards/. In the top-right of the banner there is a button "Go Pro Now" you can click to add it to the cart. Then after it's in the cart, sign in. (And then presumably open the app if you'd rather checkout through the app.)

You don't get points or certs right away in store either. Points take a few days. The monthly certs go out on the first of the month. The welcome $5 bonus ended on 10/1. To be clear to everyone doing this deal, you do NOT get a cert for the month you sign up. You only get the 10k points ($10), which takes 72 hours to be added to your account.
I might have got a different deal but I go a September cert when I signed up. I only had 3 days to use it before it expired.

I just enrolled back into Pro after not having it for a couple years and it didn't give me the 10,000 points. I chatted with someone and they said the profile wasn't completed and it had to be done in-store for some reason and then the points would post. FYI in case someone else has that issue.

So why would u not sign up for a couple years now = it seems you spend $15 and get $70 back to spend on gift cards.
For Sony/Nintendo/Steam cards, the lowest increment is $10. So you still have to pay $5 for it. Also, it's super easy to forget about these monthly coupons and let them expire.

If you are already going to pay $10 for Sony, Nintendo, or Steam, then you are getting those cards for 50% off. It's also easy to set a reminder on your phone or email so you don't forget to use the reward.

Idk if this is true everywhere. In california, I've been getting $5 codes for "free" (i.e. completely covered) with my monthly credit for the past 3 months since the last time I got this promo.

The sign-up $5 welcome coupon did not work in store for the digital codes, but the normal monthly ones have been 3/3 so far. Idk about Sony/Steam, but I just go in and ask for the $5 nintendo points code thing and they ring it up no problem. No money needed.

If you want to use the monthly $5 reward for Msft/xbox $ gift card, do you need to go to a brick and mortar wach month or can it be redeemed all via app?

Yeah it's not really the reminder that's the issue. It's having to go into the store physically every time to do it for me. Some times I don't have time.
