These bags rip incredibly easy.
I've almost tossed the whole box several times but I'm just too cheap.
Don't even think about pushing trash down in the can or swinging the bag up into a dumpster.

These are 0.6 mil only, so will rip easily.

Are these the stretchy orange string, or are these more of a red string that is stiff and breaks?

The red that is stiff and breaks is not horrible, but the orange is a chunk better and can be stuffed more.

This is not a deal. 100x 13 gallon trash bags are cheaper than this 365 days of the year at Target or Walmart.

I have purchased these in past SD offerings. I'm happy with them, no problem for normal kitchen garbage. Yes they are thinner, but quite strong. I even use them in the garage, construction debris, etc, no problems. I just bought some more.

Yes, I have. Glad that it works for you. Some of us may have more stuff in our trash. But this is good deal for those who do not.

If I use 1 bag to throw the other 199 away, would it hold up? Just curious....

Costco's comparable garbage bags are 4x as strong and cost just a few bucks more.

Question: I haven't bought the brand names in a very long time, but both Aldi and BJs the bags with the drawstrings are thicker than the bags with the tie flaps. If these are the same thickness as the non-drawstring generics I might try them (but I probably won't). The tie flap bags are way cheaper than the drawstring ones. The Aldi ones worked OK for the kitchen. No rips at least, but I still thought they felt weak. The BJs ones are about the same thickness, and also not cut properly so it's a pain in the neck to open them... at least the miscut is on the open end and not the bottom. Now that I have a Sam's membership I'll probably try theirs...

It's cheap price. I might pass on it because it looks weak.
