I had one of these and have used it for a year now. Pretty solid, no big issue. Price at ~250-ish is perfect for a beginner/first e-scooter. The battery is capable of a solid 10-mile trip which is enough for most city usage.

The XR Elite was this price, unfortunately CW screwed everyone so I wouldn't pay the same price for their lower tier model

Bought this last month at this price. Just put it together yesterday and used it. Rides very smooth with those tires but can tell it doesn't have a lot of power. Hills it slowed down on but can still get to 15mph on flat ground. I'm 6ft 200 lbs fyi. Decent scooter, that I bought for my 12 year old daughter. Should work well for her size

I'll never buy a GoTrax again. Keeps turning off literally a week after 1 year warranty and their only answer is buy a new $70 battery and that maybe will work... but it's not returnable if it doesn't fix the problem! Rather spend the money on a company with better service.

This or Segway E22 at $425 ?

From what I can gather,
Build quality of the Segway appears leagues ahead. Also 12mo warranty vs 3mo for the Gotrax.
Foam filled tires for the Segway vs traditional air
Segway is obviously $175 more

I will say this + a $20 Amazon 3yrs additional warranty，it's better than the segway OEM warranty

Especially with this rather small battery. There's a higher load per cell than with scooters that have a higher Ah count. This way the battery also gets hotter.

Wouldn't recommend air-filled tires. Get a scooter with solid tires or else you're gonna be frustrated when the tire blows and you have to (pay someone to) change it.

I used to own one of these before I upgraded to an M365. I'm a lot happier with the Xiaomi, but this is a great beginner scooter. In the current market, you either buy used or this is the best you'll find for $250. Range is only about 7-9 miles in the real world and top speed is 13, not 15 mph. If you're good with both of these, build quality is perfectly fine and it will serve you well for a year before you decide you need to upgrade to something better.
