I cashed out my discover cash back for the happy gift cards last year that had Lowe's and GameStop. If your plan is to try to convert to third party gift cards, I wouldn't recommend it. For Lowe's, all the stores around me in Chicago have simply stopped carrying third party gift cards. While on a trip to Bloomington, I stopped at a Lowe's with third party gift cards but the cashiers and manager would not let it me use the happy gift cards to buy them. I ended up using them to buy GameStop gift cards at a GameStop in hopes of buying an Xbox Series X. It's obviously pretty hard to liquidate a GameStop gift card. I'm sure others had easy experiences, but for anyone thinking to quickly convert these to Amazon gift cards it's seriously YMMV.

Depends on the location. The card specifically says that no gift card can be purchased, but some Lowe's employees don't check on them.

Please note that at my local Lowe's, gift cards can only be purchased at a manned register (i.e. no self-service kiosk).

Yes, and that's what makes these a good deal. These are run as credit gc's which Happy doesn't sell directly. I used over $500 last winter to buy Amazon GC at Lowes using the same method.

no email for shipment either and i didn't need an email to see they took the money pretty immediately from my cash back balance. i've only done this a few times before but there definitely feels like something is going on here.

I just received mine today, payment as credit type. Never got an email but can see the balance reduction on the Discover site redemption history which has an internal tracking number. Now that I'm sure what I'm getting, will prob order more. BTW, the valid thru date for the cards I received is 05/2030

I ordered on 10/06. Redemption history shows the order shipped on 10/09. No email for neither point redemption nor the shipped order.

Ordered about $1,200 worth of holiday happy cards last Tuesday received today. Pretty fast with USPS FIRST CLASS longer delivery window and yesterday no postal service due to Columbus Day!

I received the cards and it does have "Enter payment as credit" that would allow buying third party gifts cards. Would be interested to know which other places sell this kind of Happy Card

Lowes does sell Happy Cards however I don't know if any are "run as credit" type.

The Happy site sells "run as credit" although not any that can be used @ Lowes (there is currently an AE promo for buying GC direct from Happy GC site).

Ordered $200 and $150 Happy Holidays GC @ Discover.com on 10/5. Received yesterday 10/13. Their window is 7-10 days, so my experience falls in line with that.

You should check their balances @ Happy's site; no doubt they are OK but last year I got one that was unactivated and tried to use it a few times before I checked the balance and found out. Discover fixed it no issue, just led to a 2 week delay in being able to use it.

As far as Discover goes, you should have received an email almost immediately after "buying" the GC with your CB, title "You just redeemed your Cashback Bonus". Also, the CB is taken out of your balance immediately - it's not like buying something and your card is only charged when it ships.

Still haven't received mine. Order status on Discover shows "Mailed 2021-10-09" and an "Order tracking number", but no way to actually track it. I don't think I've ever redeemed for a physical card before, so I don't know how long to expect.
