Just pointing out: this is for a single sawhorse, not a pair (like the Ace Hardware deal). Doesn't make it less of a deal, necessarily, since the potential use between the two differs.
Price seems decent but I noticed these were not height adjustable - a feature I thought was nice on some Harbor Freight ones I picked up recently.

https://www.harborfreight.com/130...57807.html

They are really nice and very sturdy. Yes they're from HF and $20+ more each, but they look to be identical construction to these and the ability to adjust their height up/down ~8 inches was useful for my needs.
.
If you don't have a TSC close, the $13.28 shipping makes Amazon a bit better for me. But, if I went with Amazon, I would probably opt for the TB-C550 [amazon.com] with the rubber padded feet to help protect floors for the same $35 delivered as the 500 model. Of course, the ToughBuilt go on up in price with adjustable legs that depending on model, may or may not have the feet.

Bought some couple weeks ago for $18 ea. They are rated at 1300 lbs but have the same item number as 1100lb ones. The store had 14 in stock. Dont know if all the clearance ones are rated at 1300.
Keep in mind, the heaviest 4x8 sheet is probably 3/4" particle board and that weighs about 95 pounds. I don't buy heavy duty to put a lot of weight on it. I buy because I do not like flimsy tools.

Having the x-braces on the legs adds to the stability making them a lot safer, especially when used as scaffolding.

1) Sweet, I have been waiting for a set of these that use 2x4s to go on sale. I can justify $56.
2) Oh, but no footings? Huh... Amazon has the ones with footings for $35 each... If I don't spend the extra $14 I'm going to regret it. Plus, Amazon brings them to my house.
3) Huh... Home Depot has the really nice ones that have adjustable height for only another $7 more each. $84 for the set.
4) If I'm going to spend $42 each, I might as well get the really nice ones for$50 each. I might need to use 4x4s someday...
5) How much were the Stanley ones again????

I've got two of these setup pretty much permanently in the garage with 2x4s running lengthwise with 1/4" plywood on top. These things are great! Wish I would have gotten them for this price.

Have the C700 version of this, and I wouldn't miss any of the features between the two. The ability to grab 2x4's and put a sheet of plywood down for an instant 4x8 table, sturdy all the way across, is killer. Add a $15 4x8 foam sheet on top and you can break down plywood sheets easy peasy. The height adjustability of the C700 is sort-of-worthless below the 'max' setting unless you have a short table-saw and you're looking for outfeed or something.

I paid like 80-90 bucks or something and thought it was fair. TU and repped.

I have the 550 version, which I purchased from HD for ~$35/each. They are worth their weight in gold if you have even an infrequent need for sawhorses. 10/10 I would buy them again and highly recommend them.

For years, we used and still use three or four 2x4's flat on top of regular sawhorses and a sheet of plywood for an immediate workbench. When ripping plywood or whatever without the plywood top, just adjust the 2x4's and no need for any foam board, etc. You have 1-1/2" before you get into the sawhorse itself. Even those cheap, light duty Stanley sawhorses will work for that.

If I wanted these and no TSC close by, it would be the 550 model at the Amazon price with the rubber padded feet. I am taller than most and the non-adjustable height of the 550 is fine. It is like shooting billiards, where height of your body is an advantage looking down; you can see the angles, straight lines, etc. much easier. Tall guys thinking they need taller saw horses is a misnomer that is not to their advantage for straight cuts. When ripping a lot with a circular saw, I have no issue with using 2x4's on the ground that is not so different than cutting sheathing on a roof.
===============
I read earlier that received some negatives, but personally, I like sawhorse scaffolds for different applications, such as 9' or 10' height projects. Of course you want to anchor the 2x4's and the plywood top with drywall screws or whatever for when stepping close to an edge, but they are sturdy and plenty of space to lay down tools, have a miter box, etc. If using the ToughBuilt style, anchor a shorter 2x4 to the plywood in the middle to make more rigid, but drill a hole and put a screw through the side boards so they don't jump out when standing on an opposite corner. Want it mobile, then use some HF dollies with a piece of plywood on top of each. I almost always use a step ladder to climb up and down, even with the metal baker scaffold, as being a lot easier on my body at the end of the day.

I don't own the c500 but I did pay $50 each for the C750 series. They are fully adjustable and incredible. However, they are so darn heavy that I barely use them unless it's a really intense project.
That being said....the build quality is top notch.

You call that heavy, Really? The saw horses I have weigh 20 pounds. When I made my counter tops the particle board sheets that I put on top of the saw horses weighed 90 pounds.
