I bought a pair of WF1000XM3 from them couple weeks ago. Couldn't be more pleased. Purchased around 1PM, and by 5PM same day they were already picked up by USPS. Arrived in 3 days with the standard free first class shipping (this is of course YMMV since it's USPS we're talking here). The headphones were in nearly new condition. I would definitely buy from them again in the future.

I bought a pair a week ago, and it arrived this past weekend. It arrived in a hard cased bubble wrap and an extra plastic wrap. The headphones came in the hard cover Sony case. It came with all accessories. Charging cable, and adapter for headphone port. The headphones look brand new. I paid 179. Hopefully this answers your question.

LDAC is better than aptX, so losing aptX isnt much of a loss

Are these worth the extra $60 or so over the 1000xm3?

How much did you pay for them? They are $110 right now, which seems like a good deal.

Edit: Nevermind, those are the in ear ones. I thought it was the previous over the ear model.

Can't compare them to xm3 but I bought these around Xmas for $20 more from this company. Doesn't come in Sony box but plain box. Couldn't tell they weren't new other than that

I think the differences are in-ear detection, better noise cancellation, Bluetooth 5.0 and being able to pair to 2 devices.

bought the xm3 from them way back before covid days, came in practically brand new.

sound quality xm4 supposedly has no difference compared to xm3. you gain Bluetooth multipoint, but you lose aptx.

I noticed these don't have the same amount of codec support. Do I need apxHD? Who would? Basically - are there any limitations due to Sony not wanting to pay the additional licensing?

Nice been waiting for this since I missed the one last time. I got the silver from the same seller which for whatever reason are no longer certified refurbished so you don't get the warranty. Added squartrade 1 year and the total came to just over $200. Can't wait to get these in.

They come with LDAC. You won't notice anything unless you're coming from like open back planar magnetics or something you're requiring an amp and dac to run. In all seriousness these are bluetooth, no matter what codec they run it won't be a as good as a solid wired pair but that's not why you buy these.
