Costco has the following Theragun Deals:

Theragun Mini + Wave Solo for $200 [costco.com]
Theragun Prime + Wave Duo for $300 [costco.com]

These are regular priced but comes with an addon ball + Costco's return guarantee. I've tried both Theragun and Chinese knock-offs, and they don't hit the same.

Lukewarm deal if you wanted the wave anyway or if you want to go through the hassle of selling the wave to recoup some money. Otherwise there are better deals on the prime averaging around $250 or as low as $225. Probably see some similar deals around black friday.

Fair but buying from Costco is a lot better than any other store IMO, but obviously that depends on the value someone assigns to Costco's customer service.

Not going to argue with that. What is Costco's policy on items such as this? Can you return them after several years?

I'm my experience, no problem with returning. Their customer service is the best and they're why I'll pay more to buy through them.

Don't shop at Ali Express but a lot of the cheaper models don't have much amplitude (movement of the arm in and out) which gets deeper into the muscle so basically they barely move and really vibrate. They can do the job but not as well. Check this video out, might give you some ideas though he put more emphasis on noise level but also measures force:

Word has it that was theragun behind that video. Either way, if you are replying to the person asking for suggestions on Aliexpress he's obviously not interested in the 2 popular and expensive massagers.

Is there a noticeable difference with the Chinese knock-offs vs this or legit ones?

So two things this isn't a deal... recently there was an amex offer for $100 off $200 at flexit.fit and they have the theragun mini for $200. I am not sure the wave solo is worth another $100.

Now for the product, I ordered the Theragun mini about 2 weeks back and it has made a massive difference in sleep quality, I use it just before bed time and a few times after working out in the morning. The mini is a solid unit with good functionality, you don't need 15 speeds and 20 different modes. The simplicity of the mini is what makes it good, less things to break.

I would highly recommend getting one of these, also when getting one look for amplitude (distance movement), too short a distance won't do much.

I can't justify spending that much on one myself but my coworker did and there is definitely a difference. I think the knock off one I got was $80 and it was decent.

Simple answer is definitely YES. The chinese knockoffs barely move in/out(amplitude) which is what gets deeper in the muscles. Is it worth 3 -4 times the price? that's up to you to decide. I also have the mini ( cheapest theragun @ $200 - you can find it for around $130 on ebay) and even that one works better than the larger cheap one I got off eBay.

Well, a lot of people don't have amex so that's not a deal most people can get. I, too, have the mini and it's great, but was thinking about gettin the prime or elite for the 16mm amplitude vs 12mm on the mini.
