These aren't that pigmented and you'll need a lot to get the effect you want
You're right, Revlon has been around forever and hasn't evolved that much. Expect this to not hold up against humidity, oily eye lids, or any type of smudging. Look at the reviews themself, everyone that swatched this on their lids looks their smeared a bit a dirt in it. The colors don't show up because it's cheap make up.
But for a dollar and change, I guess it makes good draw clutter.
