I am not really familiar with the Aero Laptop line - can you wise Slickdeals folks please provide thoughts and input. I am fine with getting a laptop that costs a little more... but I want it to be able to play high end FPS games, connect to a great monitor, have decent battery length and not be too hot.
Thanks for your thoughts
COUPON: 10% Off via 2021EGGIEUPS (Expires 12/31/2021 23:59 PST) works
I know I had to turn off the free Guardians of the Galaxy gift to use it - but that seems more than worth it to me. I dont know if it causes any issues with the rebate. I hope not. Anyone know?

How do you use this without the ups email address? That's the only reason I didn't jump at this previously.

I dont know... I have the laptop in my cart. Turned off the free game and loaded this in the coupon code and it gave me 10% off. I didn't know anything about UPS
anyone who buys Intel with what AMD is putting out deserves to be ripped off.
I can get a 5800u for 1 grand at it is 3 lbs and has discrete graphics ... battery destroys Intel which is why this posted laptop is 99wh... because Intel is garbage
Nobody is using a laptop with a 3080 and highest end CPU on battery mode for much work anyways. But yes the 5800H wins on battery mode/low power, however the 11800H wins when plugged in. https://youtu.be/wWHGZJYBGQI?t=284 Battery life difference is only an hour different between the two.
Now please show me a Ryzen 4k OLED laptop with a 3070-3080, 16GB, 1 TB SSD for $1800 or any price point. Spoiler, they dont exist, so your point is useless.

For desktops atm, yes, AMD is crushing it. For laptops not so much.
AMD offers slightly better battery efficiency. Intel offers slightly more performance. With laptops it's about the whole package, and for a creator/gaming laptop this ticks most of the boxes.
I suggest not fanboying and instead actually giving some useful information. Or at least trying to back up your inaccurate claims.
The biggest knocks against this laptop are the large rebate and that it is made by Gigabyte, who I personally have had miserable customer service experience with. Good luck if you need to RMA it, you'll get quite the run around.

Been a long time Slickdeals follower but never commented.
That said, this laptop was really made for the Dell XPS, HP Spectre, high-end Lenovo Yoga's and Microsoft Surface Book customers, not the Chromebook folks out there.

If you're talking from the price-perspective only, than I can understand your point but most XPS/Spectre/Yoga users are power users that don't need dedicated graphics and prefer the extended battery life/lightweight/portability perks, therefore this would not be a good solution for most of those users. Chromebook users are in-fact some of the biggest market for a laptop like this because most Chromebook users are elementary/high school kids who love to play video games and want something other than a glorified smartphone to play on.

Use a desktop. It won't let you use this code on mobile device. I tested this out the last time it was out and it worked. Also remember to remove that free game promo.
