Anyone here try that and get it to work? I used to love stacking that on top of great deals....
Also... Agree that the Ride is a GREAT daily trainer.
Having said that, if you want to splurge, the Triumph would be a GREAT daily walker. As a runner, I felt the Triumph was a tad heavy (noticeably heavier than the Ride while running) but when I gave up on the Triumph as a runner and just wore it as a day to day walker, they were great. The extra weight cones in the form of great cushioning and also padding on the sides. It is a very plush shoe, but, it also costs more than the Ride, so there is your choice.
Also, it seems many running stores will allow you to return very gently used shoes for a refund to be used at that store. Don't be afraid to use that and go through pairs of shoes until you find a pair that really works for you. I've known too many people to try and make a shoe work for them when they shouldn't have. Modern running shoes, for the most part, don't really need a "break in" period. So if it isn't working for you after even a moderately low amount of time, I'd go to the next one.
Then, once you have brands or models you like and know you can run in, you can start to buy shoes online for cheaper.
