My wife got this same (assuming the Extreme Q 4.0 is the same as it was back then) for nearly $200 back in 2012. A heating element burned out about four years ago, and the repair estimate was more than $200.

Now, five years might be an acceptable durability for you. All I can say is, it was two months after the warranty ran out and I was a bit miffed.
