This is a 2-in-1 which means you can fold it over and use it as a pad. Also has touchscreen. Finally, I have read that 16" has a better aspect ratio than the 17".

I got the 15" last time around and so far so good (saved about $450 off the 17" price IIRC and most of the specs were the same). There is really very little real-world difference between 15" and 17" screens. 1.5" to be exact, but IMO it's not that noticeable.

Enjoying ours. Got one last time around when it was on sale for $1399. Went through customer service chat and got a price adjustment today!

Got this and returned it, its fan noise is considerably high compared to the 17" version at least the one I had was producing a very high pitch noise at full throttle. Its prettier than the 17" model but it's also a finger print magnet.

We've had ours for about 6 months (paid 1600, as my wife, 'had to have it'). And honestly, 0/no regrets (which is a rarity for me, as I hate/next to never pay 'full price'). Lives up to the hype, fast, great screen, keyboard, mouse pad...and crazy light. No issues w fan noise and I can't say I've noticed fingerprints on this machine anymore than past devices. Tough to beat at 1300.

Just picked this up last week for $1400. Not sure if I will keep and try to get the $100 off or return. I like the overall feel and build quality but the lid is the worst fingerprint magnet imaginable and I find the screen ok but not nearly as vibrant as my Dell 7706.

At 1299 I think it's a reasonable deal but I'm not as blown away as I was hoping, maybe because I hate constantly rubbing the lid with a cloth! Also one of the reviews on the Costco site mentions hard-to-clean oily buildup on the keyboard which also makes me nervous! I've never really worried about or noticed this too much on other laptops to be honest - maybe I'm being more critical here because of the price?

This is the best ultra book I have ever had. Got it 3 months ago in Amazon for the core i5 for $1400. LG is one of the rare brand makes 16GB of RAM for the 11th i5, much cooler than i7 since no many differences.

Anyone has a real life comparison to Galaxy book Pro 360. That is usually cheaper, lighter, has oled screen (although lower res). Apart the screen perhaps being divisive on paper sounds like a better option.

the LG is better, it has a better sound, 1 USB type A port, Stylus Pen, bigger battery and a bigger screen and windows update directly from Microsoft. It also works perfectly with Samsung earbuds. LG also has an extra M.2 slot so you can put another nvme SSD in.

$1300 for a 4 core CPU in 2021 and in a body people are complaining that is not sturdy with lots of flex.

There are other Thin & Light laptops with much better AMD 8-core/16- thread CPUs such as the Vivobook/Zenbook 13/14/15/16 OLED edition that are engineered better around this price and some even come with dedicated 3050ti graphics.

You are over paying for marginal thinness over the much better 2021 models.

I think you're living in another world. Do you know any laptop with the specs you've mentioned weighing 3.26 lbs?

This is lightweight, office/multimedia machine and doesn't require that 8core CPU or Dedicated GPU for it's use case.

Hmmm, not sure about sound, but everything else you mentioned 360 also has. The size difference between 15.6 and 16" is negligible imo and 360 is lighter.

The size difference is intrinsically negligible but I've heard the aspect ratio for the 16" is significantly better. I remember reading something about how web pages are rendered better, or something like that. I'm sure you can find it by googling it.

As I mentioned above, I think the size difference between 15.6" and 17.1" is barely noticeable ("negligible" might be going too far, but I thought I would notice a difference and I don't really).
