M.2 NVME so you could replace the 256GB with up to a 2TB.
So these two are similar in performance except the 11254 has a better GPU so should game better than the 10100. Here is a video of playing it on the 10100.

You would have to upgrade the RAM to get 16GB but this is within that price range. Not sure why you need 16GB perhaps video editing or something. Here is a video showing the inside where the SODIM would go.

If you need performance and can wait you can probably find a I5 at a similar price even some I3's are faster if they have four cores.
