"Maximum Heat Output: 15000 BTU" on the heater column... about 1/3 of the typical patio heater, if that's your need. Perhaps 2 on opposite sides of the seating area? That would require 2 tanks though.

It's really more of a decorative feature than a functional one.

Not frost-proof let alone freeze-proof. Manufacturer even warns of little protection from their cover:
"The cover is meant to help protect your firepit from wind debris and light showers. If you have harsher weather in winter, like snow, frost and pooling water, we suggest that you store your fire pit safely from the worst of the weather, and perhaps purchase a heavier duty cover if you have harsh sun, or moderate rains."
