Web browsing, video playback, and plenty more if you try. Pair some wireless headphones to it, put a video playlist on, and let it rip. If one of these USB-C ports has display out, you could hook it up to a TV, but I don't see any confirmation of that.

You could also try running Linux applications or Windows applications with WINE. If would be nicer if it had a bit more RAM, but the A6-9220C beats my old A6-3400M (Passmark) at a fraction of the power consumption. That level of performance is acceptable for basic tasks, and it's fanless. It looks like the Intel Celeron N4020 variant of this same Chromebook is significantly faster.

Been using N4020 version of the Lenovo 3 for about a year and it's been rock solid. The AMD 9220C is a little tiny bit slower then the N4020 but $109.00 is a pretty sweet deal. Plastic build is really good, great keyboard and the battery life is awesome. It's really light and slim compared to others in this category. No brainer if you're in the market for an inexpensive Chromebook. I actually just returned the one I purchased for $119.00 a few weeks ago in favor of the Lenovo C340 but I'm kinda regretting the decision.
Great budget deal if this is your first Chromebook. Reminds me of the old Acer c720s back in the day. This however runs android apps outta the box. No touchscreen is a minus regarding that, but for $110 bucks can't really complain. AUE is June 2026 so you'll get 4.5 years of updates outta this which is pretty solid. All in all this is a very great budget deal.

Just crazy the resolution is so low on all of these Chromebook deals popping up lately. Just once, I want to see one with plenty of years of updates left and at least 1080p resolution. Seems it's now sub-$200 for this or very similar specs or $400+ with nothing in the middle.

1366x768 has hung in there for a long time, in part because it's dirt cheap, but it's also pretty sufficient for an 11.6" screen.

Maybe in another 2 years the field will be different. I'm waiting for 8 GB RAM to displace 4 GB RAM in this price bracket, and faster processors (e.g. MT8192).

Speaking of processors, while I'm sure the A6-9220C is not as bad as it appears (the low wattage last gasp of Bulldozer), I would like to see something like Monet [videocardz.com], if not Van Gogh (the Steam Deck chip).

This one?
https://slickdeals.net/f/15325981-acer-11-6-chromebook-intel-celeron-32gb-storage-129-at-target?src=SiteSearchV2Algo1

If so, the target deal is better, the acer is lighter, has BT 5.0, is IPS, N4000 is slightly faster and is 14nm vs 9220C 28nm, slightly more power efficient and has more cache.

It'd recommend the Lenovo Flex 5. It's a 2 in 1 with 13" touchscreen 1080p. 4GB Ram, 32GB storage, Pentium Gold processor (basically an underclocked i3).

I paid $250 open box (new condition) a couple weeks ago.

It's fast, great build, great screen. Perfect for my elementary school-age son.

Only regret I have is not getting the $300 version I saw at Amazon a week later. It had an i3, 64GB, and a backlit keyboard for $50 more. A steal.
