It is only a year old. Saying two generations old generally would mean came out a long time ago. However as you state huge improvements over those two generations.
It is Zen+ based (2nd generation) then Zen 2 then Zen 3 (4th Gen)
This is more similar to an I3 gen 11 some gen 10 i3 are faster.
Says "Windows 11 in S mode". No thanks.
This seems to be a great deal. Touchscreen is nice sometimes.
No USB C is strange but three USB's. Again just HDMI 1.4. No ability for two monitors. It is also over 4 pounds so quite heavy for a plastic laptop.
But having a 2.5" bay for another SSD is nice.
