I'll take the offer and recycle my old Roku. It was slow anyway. Thanks op.

At checkout it's defaulting to "Roku Pay". I switch that to CC, enter my info in, hit submit, and it loops me BACK to the shopping cart screen again. Same with Paypal.
Hooked a TV up in my garage and my old Roku stick gets a signal, but it's weak. The stick has always been slow to load pages and apps, so an upgrade was due anyway.
Personally, my most distant Roku's are this exact basic model and they work fine. My 5 Roku locations are within 50 feet to the central WIFI router, so YMMV.
I much prefer the basic remotes to the Ultra radio remotes because the radio remotes often stop the show and go to a shortcut channel with every bump, jostle and catpaw, while the basic remotes don't stop your show unless you intentionally hold, and purposefully point.
This offer is a great value just for the extra remote and HDMI, and as a backup unit.
I imagine that the old ones are not going to be supported due to some sort of DRM or Codec that the older Roku just dont support. I have seen this time and time again. I dont really even use my Rokus anymore but for $5 ill have one for travels and such.
When i would click though possible sections in Prime Video on Roku i may watch, the movie preview of each movie would pop up and play(please dont say there is an option to stop that, it did not work).
So to click though movie selections, i would have to wait thu a pop up movie selection to play and stop. Yes there is a skip button for each pop up movie but that still took time to do.
Then besides pop up movie selections automatically playing ,Amazon Prime Video now has promotional ads pop up ads with the movie preview popups.
So as i began to click though movie selections, to get pass say 5 selections in Prime video via Roku, it would take many minutes to do.
Prior to Amazon adding movie previews and promotional ads, i was using Prime Video every day for years.
I just stopped using Prime Video completely on Roku. Prime Video is useless to me.
I would guess if Amazon Prime stopped with the movie preview popups, stopped the promotional ADs, Prime Video would work fine again on Roku.
Short answer: I PROMOTIONAL AD am not PROMOTIONAL AD going to buy PROMOTIONAL AD another Roku PROMOTIONAL AD for Amazon Prime.

Yes! I seem to be stuck in the loop. Trying to take advantage of 5% back on PayPal purchases with my CC...
