I would agree with you if Roku makes money off these players, but they really don't. They make money off you using it i.e. ads and digital in-Roku purchases, so they are better off supporting it as long as possible.

Most of these are more of a loss leader to get you into or keep you in their ecosystem.

Short answer: I PROMOTIONAL AD am not PROMOTIONAL AD going to buy PROMOTIONAL AD another Roku PROMOTIONAL AD for Amazon Prime.
Use the universal search and go right to the video you want in prime or whatever app

It could be that the deal is only offered to people who have one of these specific models active on their account.
My oldest stick is a 3500 (the purple stick).

I got one for $5.59 with tax.

When I added the WELCOME10 promo code a window popped up saying "a better deal has already been applied to your cart" so it looks like the $9.99 is the lowest price now Frown

Update. I closed my browser. Went back to the original link on this sd post. Then I clicked on my cart which had the player still in there. This time when I added the promo code it popped up with the same message about a better deal, but despite this it applied the promo code and I got it for $5.71 after tax Smilie

Hmm I don't get a pop-up, though I do get an offer page with an Ultra for $69.99. I have an old Roku 3 and an the latest Ultra so maybe that's why I didn't get it .

I have the OG Roku v1 from 2010, and I don't see the pop-up offer. You'd figure people with these devices would be the prime upgrade targets!

Anyone have a direct link to the Express offer? Or is it just YMMV on the "My Offers" page?
