My Costco had the Wagyu Ribeye for half off yesterday. I was tempted at the original $100/lb price, but finally grabbed some this time.

This is the Superior, CO store. Seems like some stores are already out of stock and others aren't on clearance yet. For those with stock at full price, I'm guessing they'll go on clearance at some point soon. The * on the price tag means it is discontinued and will no longer be restocked, so for stores with no stock you might be out of luck. The price ending in .97 means it's a manager special, so other stores with stock may or may not follow suit unfortunately.

This item doesn't appear to be on the Costco website so the required link is to an older deal when this first showed up in stores.

i saw those and they looked AMAZING, just wish it was more budget friendly. I think for most Slickdealers it might be of interest, the ones I had seen were vacuum packs of 2 that were priced at $99 so if on clearance thats $25 a steak but for real Wagyu its truely a luxury.

If you call your local Costco and give them the item number (appears to be 60000) they can tell you the price over the phone. They can also look up the price at other locations around you as well if you're willing to drive further to a different Costco.

Dang, relatively speaking 50% off is great, but yikes, $50 a pound is too much for me.

I'm still buying $4.50 a pound chuck beef on clearance/manager's special deal.

Friend - it says right in the title "A5." You can use A-1, just put on about 5x as much as you usually do and it will be perfect. Also, since this has higher fat content, you might want to cook this a bit more than you do for normal steak. If you like medium, I'd go at least medium-well. laugh out loud
