This cam is garbage. Continously sends false alerts and thinking my stationary slippers, trees, and car tires are human. It recently stopped sending anything human but continues to send false alarms. Working with eufy now to fix since im still in the warranty period.
I have 2 of these door bell cameras and they were a big upgrade from the Ring 1st gen doorbell I had. You just have to play with the sensitivity. Best of all you dont need to pay for cloud storage. If your on the fence about buying it give it a shot. I like mine
Just IMO, who cares about doorbell camera footage being stolen, gladly please steal my camera's video of my front yard lol ... i dont have any indoor cameras that i need to worry about people stalking me

What can these more expensive cameras do that cheaper ones can't? Why is this (or others) are better then Blink coming out at $49 ? My understanding is they all require similar cost subscriptions but the prices of cameras vary significantly.

I don't believe Eufy requires any kind of subscription.

I think it's more about the email/name/registration information tied to the account itself like most data leaks.
Unless you have ScarJo walking up to your house...
They updated the app recently, and they ALWAYS break something else; lousy crap, now notification view does not work; and I don't want to repeat other problems with eufy doorbell 2k that they don't or don't know how to fix; they don't fix their crap. are they purposely breaking it so consumers can buy their new product lines...stupid doorbell..remove your AI crap...who cares if it's a person or dog is crapping...Everything is person detection to it; trees, cars, flowers, plants...stupid ai. and when a real person comes to the door, it is silent as a pos.

Installed this camera for multiple family members. Worked without issue and resolution is great. Like any motion activated camera, you need to set the motion areas well to optimize. I like the Eufy systems as they do a good job with notification based on when it sees a face/person on the camera. No monthly fees is a plus too.
