Curious what's goin' on with 144Hz panels and colors?!
Looks like every company in a death race for higher refresh rate in cost of quality. 49% (well, in reality even less) NTSC, not even talking bout basic sRGB...

I'm guessing they figure the average consumer like me understand the value of 144hz since it's been so talked about but the quality of the colors, NTSC, srgb, deep blacks, color range/spectrum and all the other stuff might not have been so much talked about where the consumer doesn't know about it yet.

Maybe when popular tech youtubers started mentioning the color quality as if it were deal breakers the consumer would start expecting more and only buy the bad panels if at a huge discount. Then manufacturers would start realizing people demand better panel quality. More demand for better quality in all parts of the computer would make the standard go up. It seems people are starting to realize the whole computer needs to be quality. Not just a cpu and gpu that is advertised but other parts like a quality brand psu and so on. If anything the psu seems to be the most important part that needs be to be good quality everything relies on it.

I would say "THIS" and will be totally agreed, but most of average consumers doesn't care 'bout 144Hz and even lees 'bout color, sRGB, NTSC and such. We are talking mostly 'bout gamers. And yes, unfortunately most of those gamers are teens or students or, in most cases, their parents who's made purchases based on youtube and whatever reviews, with most clicks likes on it.
