Smaller footprint for the Omen and lighter by a tad. Doesn't have the extra cooling that juts out the back. Thin and light gaming vs pure gaming. Max Q on the OMen. Full power on the Legion Pro. I don't have a side by side but reports are the Legion Pro has a phenomenal screen and has superior cooling.

I upped the screen and downgraded the ram (you can replace with 32GB for 110$ from another slickdeal).
1500 BUT end of Nov shipping with very unreliable timing.

End of the month (Oct) , new intel chipset for desktops will be shipping from OEMs. Normally laptops follow soon after that, with deals right before/during.

So yes, chances are good.

I like mine that I bought a while back with different specs. Runs loud but overall seems pretty nice to me. This does have a MUX switch for faster HDMI output!
