Personally, I think the i5 version with 16gn of Ram and $100 cheaper is the better value. The performance difference between the two processors is negligible.

No deal here.

Holy no USB C charging. This is archaic. I refuse to buy a PC that won't charge with the same cord as every other device I own.... in 2017 maybe

Huge difference in graphics performance, no? Or is the 12gb killing it?

I was thinking of buying this deal and returning the one in this link.

https://slickdeals.net/f/15324241-asus-tuf-laptop-17-3-144hz-i5-11260h-rtx-3050-ti-8gb-ram-512gb-ssd-780-free-shipping?page=7#commentsBox

I don't need the size, like the lower price and 12b RAM. Would I be gving up anything? I'm mostly into audio and picture editing and a little video editing. Tanks

I'm guessing it's because the RAM won't be in true dual channel format at 8gb + 4gb.

Wish these cheap laptops had higher than 1080p screen resolution.

The 12GB is an issue and silver keys could be an issue.

The 16GB i5 version is a better deal and probably roughly equivalent in performance, albeit slower in single core.

1080P is enough for most people.
But we can always wish for more.
